Jackie Conn has a lot of experience with weight gain and weight loss.
As a mother of four girls, now all grown, she’s learned a lot about managing weight and the importance of being a good role model.
She has been the general manager of Weight Watchers of Maine for more than 20 years. In that capacity she has helped thousands of Maine people change their relationship with food.
She firmly believes that food is not a moral issue! All food was put on the planet to be enjoyed free of guilt. Learning how to balance food choices may be tricky but not impossible.
She writes about eating, moving, raising kids and body images both healthy and distorted. She shares insight into navigating a world filled with food, myths about food and weight loss, bodies, exercise and health.
She doesn’t pretend to be perfect or have all the answers.
